What this is not, so you can rule us out fast
- One graph per account. Wend is solo-private by default, so it is your working memory of your principal's network, not a shared workspace. Shared access with roles and admin controls is a custom arrangement, not something you can buy off the pricing page.
- It reads the Google account you sign in with. Gmail delegate access to your principal's mailbox does not carry over into an API connection, so what Wend sees is the mail in your own account, which for most people in this role is most of it.
- Google only today. Outlook and Microsoft 365 are not shipped.
- Nothing sends itself. Wend drafts, you press send from your own Gmail, and a copy of anything that goes out lands back in your inbox for the record. That is deliberate: the name on the message is not yours.
- Your assistant is the main interface. If your organization blocks Claude, ChatGPT and every other assistant, most of the value is out of reach and you should know that before you start.
FAQ
Can a chief of staff or EA use Wend on behalf of an executive?
Yes, and that is the shape we built for. You run your own account, and the graph inside it is your working record of your principal's network. Everything an AI infers is proposed for your approval before it is stored. It is not a shared team workspace.
Why does provenance matter more in this role than for the executive?
Because you are relaying somebody else's conversation, not your own. Wend links every fact to the email, page or note it came from, so the record can be checked rather than trusted, and a person confirms every AI-proposed fact before it lands.
What stops an AI assistant from writing something wrong into the record?
The write path, not a prompt or a setting. An agent cannot commit anything: it proposes, and a proposal is inert until a human approves it. The credential that can propose is never the credential that can confirm, so an assistant that read a prompt-injected email cannot approve its own writes.
Does Wend send email for my principal?
It drafts, you send. Messages go out through your own Gmail and a copy lands back in your inbox for the record. There is no autopilot mode for messages that go out under someone else's name.
What happens to the work when I change jobs?
You export it: the graph as JSON plus the original files you uploaded. Whether that record leaves with you or is handed to your successor is a conversation with your employer, not a limit we impose.
