About Wend
A digital brain for the people in your life.
Wend remembers everyone you know, and Wendy acts on it for you. Memory and hands, on a graph that lives on your own Mac.
Access is invite only right now.
92
people from one WhatsApp read, before you grant a single permission.
0.63s
to read 69,000 messages. Nothing went to a model.
2.4s
for one extraction on the Mac itself. Apple silicon with Apple Intelligence.
The first read
It starts full, not empty
Install it and it reads what your Mac already holds. WhatsApp needs no permission prompt at all, so the first read happens before you grant anything.
It reads what the machine has been recording all along, too: call history, the message and call donations macOS keeps for Siri, notification history. Years of who you talk to, on macOS 13 through 26.
Underneath is a graph, not a notes file: people, companies and events, with typed relationships, dated facts and a source on every claim.
While you work
Wend notices while you work
A day of meetings on Zoom or Meet. An afternoon on LinkedIn or a conference site. Wend reads the window you are working in and remembers the people in it.
It reads the screen, never the microphone. Off by default, one click to pause, and everything it notices waits for you to confirm it.
The hands
Wendy acts on it, on your behalf
Looking somebody up is a weekly need. Doing something about it is a daily one, so Wend has an assistant. She reaches you on Telegram and by email, out of the same memory.
For a text she writes the exact words and sends you a link. You read them, change them, and one tap sends from your own Messages. She signs her own name, never as you.
Your agent
One link, and your AI knows your network
Point Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any agent that speaks MCP at one address that never changes. Tell one that Priya moved and the next one knows.
Then it drafts, schedules and introduces. Every write arrives carrying its source, and you are the one who hits send.
Four permissions, granted separately: read, propose, draft, send. An assistant you granted reading to cannot see the send tools at all, and asking anyway is refused by the server.

Comparisons
How Wend compares
It competes with forgetting, not with your CRM.
| What you use today | Where Wend is different |
|---|---|
| The memory inside your assistant | It belongs to that assistant, stays behind when you switch models, and cannot say where a fact came from. |
| Assistants that act but remember nothing | They draft from a prompt and a first name. Wendy drafts from what was actually said, and shows you the words before anything goes. |
| Memory infrastructure for agents | Built to remember text. Wend models a network: many people, the links between them, and identities you decided. |
| Personal CRMs | Their agents write straight into your data. In Wend a write is a proposal that carries its source and waits for you. |
| Sales CRMs | Multi-user and pipeline first. Wend is one person's memory: no deals, no quotas, no shared workspace. |
| Note and knowledge apps | Built around pages. Wend is built around people and the links between them. |

Frequently asked
Common questions
- What is Wend?
- A Mac app that keeps a living memory of everyone you know. It reads what is already on your machine, notices the people in the window you work in, and lets any AI assistant ask your network anything.
- Who is Wendy?
- Wend's assistant. She reaches you on Telegram and by email, answers out of your graph, and drafts what you want to send. For a text she writes the words and sends you a link, and one tap sends it from your own Messages.
- Can Wendy send things as me?
- No, and that is a decision rather than a limit. She writes as Wendy, on your behalf, and signs her own name. No mode sends under your identity, which is exactly why iMessage is a draft you send yourself.
- Where does my data live?
- On your Mac, with a copy in the cloud so your AI can still answer when the laptop is shut. Raw sources, bulk message text and ambient captures stay on the Mac, and the bulk import sends none of your messages to a model.
- Which AI assistants does Wend work with?
- Anything that speaks MCP: Claude on the web and desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and the rest. They all point at one address, https://www.trywend.io/api/mcp, and it never changes.
- Can I stop an assistant from sending anything?
- Yes, and it is structural. Four permissions are granted separately: read, propose, draft, and send. An assistant you granted reading to cannot see the send tools at all, and asking anyway is refused by the server.
- How is this different from the memory in my assistant?
- That memory belongs to that assistant. It stays behind when you switch models, and it cannot tell you where a fact came from. Wend sits outside every assistant, keeps a source on every claim, and reads the same in all of them.
- Does Ambient Mode listen to my meetings?
- No. It reads the window you are working in through macOS accessibility, never your microphone. Password managers are never walked, secure fields and private windows are skipped, and everything it notices waits for you to confirm it.
- What does Wend cost?
- $29 a month or $290 a year, flat at every network size. No ladder, no charge that scales with the number of people you know. Your graph is yours: export works at any time, and nothing is ever deleted for non-payment.
- Who does the public-web research, and whose data is it?
- Yours. You connect your own account with a data provider, and Wend uses it to fill in roles, education and location, each with a source. The key is yours and you can revoke it. Wend is not a reseller.
- Does Wend train on my data?
- No. Never. It is written into the Terms of Service. Data reaches an AI provider only for the inference you asked for, and those providers are contractually prohibited from training on it.
- Is Wend GDPR compliant?
- Yes. Your account and billing run in the US, and transfers for EU, EEA and UK users are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses plus supplementary measures. You keep the right to access, rectify, delete and export. Full posture at trywend.io/security.
Every fact has a source, and you approved it.
Click a fact and it names where it came from: the message, the screen, the page. Read the message before it goes, and it goes only when you say so.
