Your network is the one asset you cannot rebuild

Anyone can build software now. Describe it to a coding agent and wait. Work that took a funded team a quarter takes one person a weekend, and value moves to whatever cannot be built that way.

You cannot vibe code a relationship.

You already have an agent, and you will replace it. The best model changes every few months, and you switched browsers, search engines and phones the moment something better arrived. The people you met along the way will still be there.

So the memory of them cannot live inside the agent, and this part does not fix itself. Memory is what makes an assistant expensive to leave, so portable memory is the feature that makes a model replaceable. Shipping it means building your own exit.

A memory that belongs to you will not be built by the companies that profit when it does not.

A memory that cannot do anything is a filing cabinet. Looking somebody up is a weekly need, so a tool that only looks people up gets bookmarked and then forgotten, which is how every product in this category has died. Doing is a daily need. So Wend has hands, and her name is Wendy.

She reaches you on Telegram and by email, out of the same memory, and drafts the follow-up you owe or the introduction you keep meaning to make. For a text she writes the exact words and sends you a link: you read them, change them if you want, and one tap sends it from your own Messages.

Wendy acts for you, as Wendy. She never pretends to be you.

She signs her own name, and when somebody asks whether they are talking to you, the answer is no. An assistant allowed to wear your identity is one bad inference from a message you can never take back. So nothing sends as you unattended unless you switch on an Autopilot lane for one person and one kind of message. Four modes for each person: she drafts and you send; you approve the exact words and it goes out from your own Messages; she sends as herself, signed; or your Wendy talks to theirs.

Every fact has a source, and you approved it.

Once several agents can write into one memory, the useful question stops being what do you remember and becomes who told you that. An agent proposes and you approve. When two sources disagree, both are kept and both are shown. An instruction hidden in a web page can talk your agent into almost anything, and it still arrives as a proposal carrying that agent's name, not yours.

The same rule governs the hands. Every agent you connect gets a permission rather than a keyring: one to read, one to propose, one to write words that do not leave, and one to ask for a send. An assistant you granted reading to cannot see the sending tools at all, and asking anyway is refused by the server rather than discouraged in a description.

None of this can be retrofitted. A pile of orphan facts has no way to earn provenance later.
