The short answer

What is Wend?

Wend is a Mac app that keeps a private memory of everyone you know. It builds itself from the messages, mail, contacts and calendar already on your machine, turning them into a graph of people, companies and events with a source behind every fact. Any AI assistant you already use can read that graph over one connector, and Wendy, Wend’s own assistant, acts on it for you: she answers on Telegram and by email, drafts the message you send, and shows you every outward message before it goes.

What it does

Four things, in the order they happen

One

It reads your Mac

WhatsApp needs no permission prompt, so the first read lands before you grant anything. Contacts, calendar, mail and iMessage follow once you say yes, and the reading happens on your own machine.

Two

It builds a graph

Not a notes file. People, companies and events, with typed relationships, dated facts and a source you can click on every claim.

Three

It keeps noticing

New messages, new meetings, the profile in the window you are working in. What it notices waits in a queue for you to confirm before it becomes a fact.

Four

Your AI reads it

One address and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or anything else that speaks MCP can ask your network a question. Read, propose, draft and send are four separate permissions.

Why it sits outside your AI

Agents change. Your network does not.

The memory built into an assistant belongs to that assistant. It stays behind when you switch models, and it cannot tell you where a fact came from or when you agreed to it.

Wend keeps the memory outside every agent, on hardware you own, with provenance on each fact and your approval on each AI write. Switch from one model to the next and the graph reads the same. The long version of that argument is the manifesto.

What it costs

Free forever. Wendy does the rest.

The memory is free for as long as you like: the whole local read, every person, search, provenance and export. Wendy, the hands, is $29 a month or $290 a year after 21 days free, flat at every network size.

Stop paying and nothing is deleted. The graph stays yours to read, search and export, and what stops is the work Wendy does for you. The full comparison is on the features page.

Next questions

What people ask after that

Is Wend a CRM?
It is a personal one, for one person. There is no shared workspace, no pipeline and no deal stage. It is the memory of who you know, and it is built for you rather than for a sales team reporting on you.
What does Wend read, and what does it do with it?
Messages, mail, contacts and calendar that are already on your Mac. It turns them into people, companies and events with a source on every fact. The bulk import sends none of your messages to a model.
Do I have to type anything in?
No. It starts full. WhatsApp needs no permission prompt at all, so the first read happens before you grant anything, and the graph is populated the first time you open it.
Which AI can read it?
Anything that speaks MCP: Claude on the web and desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and the rest. They all point at one address, https://www.trywend.io/api/mcp, and it never changes.
Who is Wendy?
Wend's assistant, and the reason the paid plan exists. She reaches you on Telegram and by email, answers out of your graph, and drafts what you want to send. Nothing sends as you unattended unless you switch on an Autopilot lane for one person and one kind of message. Four modes for each person: she drafts and you send; you approve the exact words and it goes out from your own Messages; she sends as herself, signed; or your Wendy talks to theirs.
What does Wend cost?
Free forever for the memory. Wendy, the hands, is $29 a month or $290 a year after 21 days free, flat at every network size. Nothing is ever deleted for non-payment.
Is there a limit on using Wend through Claude or ChatGPT?
No. Unlimited through your own AI. The reasoning runs on the plan you already pay for; Wend serves the memory.
How is it different from the memory built into my assistant?
That memory belongs to that assistant. It stays behind when you switch models, and it cannot tell you where a fact came from. Wend sits outside every assistant, keeps a source on every claim, and reads the same in all of them.

Wend knows everyone you know, notices who you talk to, and plugs your whole network into the AI you already use. Every fact has a source, and you approved it.
