For our beta testers
Wend changed shape. Your graph did not.
Every person, organization, note and source you put in is exactly where you left it. Four steps to pick it up again.
Nothing was deleted, and you do not start over.
Sign in with the same Google address and your whole graph is there. The only thing you genuinely have to redo is granting Gmail and Calendar access, because we cleared those connections on our side on purpose.
Four steps
- 1
Connect Wend to your AI
Wend runs on your Mac now. Install it, open the Agents pane, and point whichever AI you use at the one address it shows.
www.trywend.io/install
- 2
Sign in with the same Google account
Use the exact address you used before. Same address, same graph. A different one makes a second, empty account.
- 3
Reconnect Gmail and Calendar
We cleared every Google connection on our side, so grant these again. Wend offers both while it walks your sources.
- 4
Let it read your Mac
First run walks your sources: WhatsApp, Contacts, Calendar, your LinkedIn archive. It shows what each one found, and one click takes any import back out.
What actually changed
Before
You opened Wend in a browser tab and talked to it there.
Now
Wend is a Mac app. You browse, edit and approve there, and you ask from whichever assistant you already use. trywend.io keeps your account and billing.
Before
Onboarding was a wizard with a progress bar.
Now
Onboarding is Wend's first run. It reads your sources, shows what each one found, and undoes any of it in one click.
Before
Pricing was going to be tiered by how many contacts we kept current.
Now
One price, flat at every network size: $29 a month or $290 a year.
Before
Research ran on our data provider account.
Now
Research runs on your own provider key, which is why the price is flat however big your network gets.
If something goes wrong
Your assistant says the Wend tools are not loaded.
That happens when the connection was written but never authorized. Open Wend on your Mac, go to the agent it set up, and run the connection check again.
Authorization fails or loops.
If you added the connection by hand, check the URL is the www form. The apex domain redirects, and assistants drop the authorization header across that hop, so it fails silently with nothing useful in the error.
Your graph looks empty.
You are almost certainly in a second account created with a different Google address. Sign out and back in with the original one; nothing is lost.
Anything else.
